Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of The Vault, a mobile application published by Cyberesia SA ("Cyberesia", "we", "us"). By opening the app or starting a trial you agree to them.
1The service
The Vault catalogues the clothing and accessories you photograph, and uses artificial intelligence to suggest outfits, render try-on images, and answer styling questions. Its suggestions are opinions, not professional advice; taste varies and you remain responsible for what you wear and what you buy.
2The trial and membership
- New members receive a 7-day free trial with full access. Nothing is charged during the trial.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, membership begins automatically at the price shown at sign-up (Annual or Monthly), billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Prices are shown in your store's local currency and may change with notice. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
3Acceptable use
The Vault is for your personal, non-commercial use. Do not upload content you have no right to, attempt to reverse-engineer or overload the service, or use it to build a competing dataset or product.
4Your content
You keep all rights to the photographs and information you add. You grant Cyberesia only the limited licence needed to operate the service for you, processing an image when you ask the valet to look at it. We do not use your content to train AI models.
5Intellectual property
The app, its design, the valet's voice, and all related materials belong to Cyberesia SA and are protected by copyright and other laws. The reading and reference material the valet cites remains the property of its respective publishers and is offered for further reading only.
6Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyberesia excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
7Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. The courts of Geneva have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Privacy Policy
The Vault is built to keep your wardrobe yours. This explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. Cyberesia SA is the data controller.
1What we process
- Photographs and wardrobe details you add. These are stored locally on your device.
- Images you ask the valet to analyse or render are sent, at that moment, to our processing server and on to our AI providers to produce the result.
- Your answers and preferences from onboarding (for example age range and profession), used only to tailor suggestions.
- Basic app and subscription data (trial status, entitlement) via our payments provider. We do not receive your full card details.
- Privacy-preserving product events such as whether onboarding, an import, or a generation completed, together with a pseudonymous installation identifier. We do not include photographs, chat text, garment names, or wardrobe contents in these events.
- Approximate location, only if you allow it, to dress you for the weather. It is not stored after the forecast is fetched.
2Who processes it for us
To provide AI features we use latest AI providers (the valet's reasoning and vision and image previews and catalogue cut-outs), and Payment processors with Apple and Google for subscriptions. These providers act as data processors for us.
3What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your photographs or wardrobe to train AI models.
- We do not require an account or your real name to use the app.
4Retention
Wardrobe data stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Images sent for processing are used to generate your result and not retained by us for longer than needed to deliver it. Pseudonymous operational and product events are retained only as long as necessary to secure and improve the service.
5Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you may access, correct, delete, or export your data, and object to certain processing. Because most data lives on your device, deleting a piece or the app removes it directly. For anything held by us, contact us below.
6Children
The Vault is not directed at children under 16 and is not intended for their use.
7Changes
We will post any changes here and, if significant, notify you in the app.
